Event Catering and Planning

What types of events do you cater for?

We offer catering services for a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate functions, private parties, and more. Our team has over 15 years of industry experience with large-scale events and intimate gatherings.

How far in advance do I need to book your catering services?

We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability, especially for larger events. For weddings, we recommend reserving your date up to 10-12 months in advance.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my event date?

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and date change policies are outlined in our terms and conditions, which we provide upon booking. Please inform us as soon as possible if there are any changes to your plans.

What is the maximum number of guests you can cater for?

We can cater for events of any size, from small private gatherings to large corporate events. The capacity of the events we cater mainly depends on the venue or location of the event.

Can you handle outdoor events?

Absolutely. From tipi to marquee events, we have years of experience in outdoor catering.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements and allergies?

Absolutely. We can cater to various dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-specific requests. Please inform us of any dietary requirements when booking. Reeka does not charge extra for this.

Do you provide sample menus, or can I customise the menu for my event?

Yes, we have a range of sample menus to suit different tastes and event styles. Please view our brochure here. We're more than happy to work with you to create a bespoke menu that perfectly fits your event's theme and preferences. Contact us here for more information.

What about fusion menus?

We specialise in developing fusion menus from scratch. In addition to Western European cuisine, Reeka's head chef and Managing Director, Jay Halford, specialises in Indian, Sri Lankan, and Thai food, among many other Oriental cuisines.

Do you offer tastings before I book?

We do offer menu tastings. If you want us to arrange this for you before securing your date with us, we are more than happy to book you in at an additional fee that will come off your final balance once you decide to hire Reeka as your wedding caterer.

How is the food prepared and transported?

Food is freshly prepared in our professional kitchen and transported in temperature-controlled vehicles to ensure freshness and safety.

Do you have experience with cultural and religious dietary requirements?

Yes, we have experience in preparing food that adheres to various cultural and religious dietary laws and customs, including halal and kosher options. Please let us know your requirements when booking.

Service Details and Inclusions

What is included in your catering service?

Alongside food ingredients and preparation, we also include all staffing required for food service, as well as crockery, cutlery and napkins from Reeka standard ranges. We are happy to outsource any upgrades as well as table linen at an additional cost.

Do you offer drinks and bar service?

Yes, we offer a range of beverage services, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. We can also provide a full bar service with experienced bartenders.

Are your staff trained in food safety and hygiene?

Absolutely. Our staff are professionally trained and hold relevant food safety and hygiene qualifications to ensure the highest standards are maintained at all events.

Pricing and Quotations

How do I request a bespoke quote for my special event?

How do you price your catering services?

Our pricing is based on the type of event and venue, guest count, type of menu and food service, and any additional service required. After discussing your specific needs and preferences, we provide a tailored quote.

What are your payment terms?

A deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is recalculated based on the final guest count and menu choices one month before your event when the final invoice is also due for payment.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, we are fully insured, including public liability insurance, ensuring peace of mind for us and our clients.
